It is recommended that your JURA Coffee Machine has an annual service.

Service on your JURA Coffee Machine includes the following;

  • Clean and descale the machine
  • Check coffee quality and settings
  • Check wear parts
  • Check flowmeter
  • Check the inner distribution collar
  • Strip and clean the machine
  • Strip and clean the brew unit
  • Replace seals on the brew unit
  • Clean and readjust the grinder
  • Clean coffee spouts
  • Replace the frother tube and milk spout
  • Check and clean the frother and the steam nozzle
  • Check for leaks
  • Clean machine internally and externally, and Test machine (15 test coffees)
  • Inclusive of 2 hours Labour (Domestic), 2.5 (Office/Professional) and 3 hours for Giga
  • It is recommended that drainage valves be changed at every service – should it be necessary, the part number and cost will appear on your job card

Should any parts be required, this will be quoted separately and may incur additional labour charge. The above service can only be conducted in our workshop and not on-site.

Labour

R 750 per hour or part thereof

Removal of Bugs/Insects/Mould etc. from the machine (an hour’s labour will be added to the above.)

Should you want the unit to be collected/delivered, please add the following fees:

  • Durban area R 450 for Collection and delivery
  • Ballito area R 750 for Collection and delivery

Please arrange your own courier should you be outside of the Durban Area – and please clearly mark on your package THIS WAY UP and FRAGILE.

On-Site Repairs (Greater Durban area)

Call-out fee of R 750 per hour (or part thereof) – excluding parts.

If the unit cannot be repaired on site, it will be uplifted to our workshop.

Monthly on-site maintenance plan

R 950 per machine per month.

  • Visual inspection – Check all covers, spouts, milk frother, and drip tray for any type of damage.
  • Metal sheet inbox contacts – Clean and ensure proper contact.
  • Run a clean cycle, run a descale cycle and run a milk cleaning cycle using Jura products
  • Frother – Strip and manually clean the frother
  • Test
  • Down time – 90 Minutes

NB: If any faults are found, parts and labour will be quoted separately, and the filter is not included in the maintenance plan.

NB: Applies to the Greater Durban Area only. Outlying areas, quotation on request.

Service Procedure

  • When your machine comes into the workshop, it goes into the workshop queue.
  • The unit then gets stripped. You will receive a job card detailing any parts and, if any additional work needs to be carried out.
  • On receipt of the job card, please advise via email that we can go ahead.
  • Once we receive the go-ahead, we will proceed with the job.
  • When you receive an invoice from us, the machine has been repaired and is ready.
  • Usually, the turnaround time is approximately 2 working days, depending on parts availability and the number of units on the workbench.

Service/repair warranty

  • 12 months warranty on any part(s) replaced during service.
  • There will be no labour charge if warranty parts are replaced.
  • All warranty claims are on a “Carry-In” basis to our repair centre.
  • Please supply a copy of your invoice when you bring the unit in.
  • The Warranty does not cover labour, should the client not have performed the correct cleaning procedures, or misuse/neglect to use the product for its normal intended purpose – for example, stones/paper clips in the grinder or instant coffee being used.
  • The warranty will not be honoured if the machine has been opened or tampered with.

PLEASE NOTE: All prices quoted exclude vat. Machines not collected 30 days after quotation will be sold to defray expenses. Should you not accept our quotation, a rejection fee of R350.00 applies.
